Ready for a Night Out

“You’re sure now I don’t want you being mad at me when I come home.” Johnny was getting dressed, it was Andy’s last shout, last time out with the boys.

“No Johnny I don’t mind as long as you come home in one piece and don’t get sloppy with some girl.”

“Ah Amanda, you’re a peach you know that?” He leaned over and gave her a kiss.

Amanda kissed him back and smiled. “Don’t try to tackle any stairs.”

“Nope I’ll keep my feet on the floor tonight. If it hadn’t been for you I don’t know where I’d be now.”

Amanda handed him a shirt, “You’d be fine but I’m glad I was there.” She watched him button his shirt and thought back to the times she’d helped him dress when they were at Millies. She’d loved him then and now she couldn’t imagine not being with him.

“What are you going to do tonight?” He asked.

“I’m going over to Lucy’s and help her with her cake, she’s making her own wedding cake. She’s made so many she know exactly what she wants.”

“She’s okay with Andy going out tonight?”

Amanda laughed, “Yes, she’s given him his orders, no fights, no women other than that have a good time.”

“Same orders I got, okay I’m ready,” Johnny made sure he had his wallet and followed Amanda out to the car.

She drove him to Millie’s to meet up with Andy, “Be careful Johnny, I love you.”

Johnny gave her a long kiss before hopping out of the car and going inside to meet his mates.
